Ramadan Duas 2025
Find essential Ramadan duas, including Suhoor dua, Iftar dua, a supplication for those who provide iftar, and a powerful dua for Laylatul Qadr from the Quran and Sunnah
1. Dua for Ramadan Moon Sighting
اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلاَمِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
Allahumma ahlilhu `alainā bil-yumni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-Islam, rabbi wa rabbuk Allah
O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and security and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.
2. Dua for Fasting (Suhoor Dua)
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan
I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan.
3) For Breaking Fast – Iftar Dua
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّی لَکَ صُمْتُ وَبِکَ اٰمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْکَ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَعَلٰی رِزْقِکَ اَفْطَرْتُ
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftarthu
O Allah! For You I have fasted and upon your provision, I have broken my fast.
Reference: Abu Dawud: 2358 (Daif) Sheikh Al-Albani classed it as da’if.
4) Dua For Someone who provides you Iftar
أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ
Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah
May the fasting (men) break their fast with you, and the pious eat your food, and the angels pray for blessing on you.
5) Dua to Frequently recite in Laylatul Qadr
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma innaka Afuwwun Karimun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee
O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, Generous, You love pardon, so pardon me.
