In the year 2000, Saudi Arabia witnessed more than 1.8 million pilgrims from all over the world making their way to Hajj and spanning over 180 nations. One of them is an infant of 11 months old who is the proud owner of being the youngest Hajj pilgrim.

As per the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten the current Hajj has seen an impressive rise in pilgrims which totals 1,845,045 women, men and children taking part. This is an increased of 926,00 visitors as compared to the previous year.
It is worthwhile to mention that among the pilgrims is the baby of 11 months that is thought to be to be the youngest Hajj pilgrim. But, it hasn’t been established what country the baby’s parents are from.
In this respect, a Saudi newspaper has published video showing that the baby of 11 months and his parents is the smallest Hajj pilgrimage this year. The video of this tiny pilgrim quickly went to the top of social networks.
It is apparent that the pilgrims went to Muzdalifah after having performed the main ceremony of Hajj that is the most important ceremony of standing (waqf) on Arafat.
After having completed this Wuquf to Arafat after which the pilgrims will be staying in Muzdalifah. In Muzdalifah they will be able to combine prayers for the Maghrib (evening) along with the Isha (night) evening prayers.
