German footballer and defender Robert Bauer announced his conversion to Islam and expressed his appreciation to all those who assisted him on his journey to becoming a Muslim.
Bauer took to the platform of Instagram lately, Bauer posted a picture of him praying. He also revealed that he converted into Islam by way of his wife as well as family.
“For everyone who has been messaging me this morning. I discovered Islam by way of my mother and family. It’s been a long time and I’m grateful to everyone who has helped me and guide me through my journey.” Bauer wrote.

Bauer plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai, after joining in the Saudi Professional League on a one-year deal in May.

Bauer played for Germany during Germany’s participation in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015 and was a part of the team of the 2016 Summer Olympics that saw Germany get an Olympic silver medal.
