Anju, a woman from India who became a sensation both in her home country and abroad for marrying a Pakistani after traveling to Upper Dir, received a plot and other gifts as a token of appreciation.
Mohsin Abbasi, chief executive of a realty company located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave Anju the gifts, including Rs50,000 and a 10 marla homeland after she converted.
After choosing Islam, the 35-year old Indian divorcee travelled to Pakistan legally with a valid visa. She married Nasrullah a 29 year-old Facebook friend.
Social media has posted a video showing Abbasi visiting Anju at her home and Nasrullah in theirs.
In the video, he said that he had given the items to Anju in order to make her feel comfortable in Pakistan.

A mother of two, from Kailor in India’s Uttar Pradesh, entered the Wagah Border on July 22 with a one-month Pakistani visa.
As a foreigner she must apply to the Home Ministry to extend her stay.
