Bollywood actress Shah Rukh Khan quotes verses of Surah al-Maidah, a chapter of the Holy Quran.
The Shah Rukh Khan of Mumbai is among the most recognizable name within the Indian Bollywood movie industry. Recently, in an interview Shahrukh Khan was asked about his beliefs and he replied to the question by quoting certain verses from Surah Al-Maidah.
He cited Surah al Madinah’s verses 32 & 33 to explain the ways in which Islam is teaching compassion. He also said Allah has instructed Muslims through the Quran not to hurt children, women or animals. They also should not harm crops of their enemies, even in conflict.
He also said that Islam does not have a place for terrorism and anyone who claims to call himself a Muslim is not an Muslim.

But, Shahrukh Khan is married to Gauri Khan, who is a follower of Hinduism.
