Surah Al-Baqarah – Ayat al Kursi with Translation

Ayat al Kursi

Ayat Al Kursi is a verse from the Holy Quran and is considered one of the most powerful and significant verses in the Islamic faith. It is also known as the Throne Verse and is located in Surah Al-Baqarah, the second and longest chapter of the Quran.

The verse itself is a declaration of the greatness and power of Allah (God) and serves as a reminder of His presence and protection. It is believed that reciting Ayat Al Kursi has numerous spiritual benefits, including protection from evil, blessings, and peace of mind.

The verse reads as follows:

“Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

Ayat Al Kursi is often recited after prayers, before going to bed, and during times of difficulty or distress. It is believed to bring peace and protection to the reciter and is considered a powerful tool for seeking Allah’s blessings and mercy.
